I now know what real Olive oil taste like. Rich, almost creamy, smooth tasty goodness from a can. It looks darker than expected when I pour it into my glass server. I cook with it, use it on my sourdough toast instead of butter, makes my salad taste great. Very happy with my purchase.

After reading “Real Food” (Olmstead), I’ve tried to find a good source of genuine fresh olive oil, not cut with other oils or rancid. This is it! It’s delicious! And the bottles are just right size to finish in six weeks, the recommended time after opening olive oil so it doesn’t go rancid. I highly recommend.

Worked well for me – August 12, 2020

I don’t particularly like olive oil. Too greasy and that overshadows any flavor for me. That said, I use it on salad and in a bread recipe that I consistently use.

First, it is rated very well by people more knowledgeable about olive oil then I. The main thing is that, with the same recipe and same ingredients in the same bread making machine, this time the bread came out perfectly and tasted very good. It is usually pretty good, but this time when I used this oil, it was noticeably better. In the past I used light taste olive oil or avocado oil. From now on it will be only this olive oil.

Wonderful Olive Oil- December 13, 2020

I used to buy EVOO house brands for many years thinking they were probably all pretty much the same. My daughter who has been shopping for us during the pandemic picked us up a bottle of Olive Ranch EVOO. Although it was a bit more pricey I could instantly taste the difference. Much more spicy and flavorful. I was intrigued and hooked. It got me to wondering just how much better these pricey EVOO could be. I finally bit the bullet and purchased a bottle of Ellora Farms EVOO. Wow! Excellent olive oil. Clearly superior to Olive Ranches EVOO which had become my regular oil. It has become my finishing oil. I use it for dipping breads into and topping fresh pasta and for vinaigrettes. Still use the Olive Ranch for cooking and for recipes that call for olive oil as a minor ingredient. But you just can’t beat the taste of this Olive Oil. Try a half teaspoon of Olive Ranch and the rinse your mouth and try a half teaspoon of Ellora Farms. Then you will know what I am talking about.
