I Can See the Acropolis from My Dining Room!!!
I’m a bit of a food snob, as those of you who’ve read some of my previous reviews. I’m willing to spend extra for the enhanced experience, better quality, etc.

In this case, it was money well spent, but not really that much more than the Extra Virgin Olive Oil you get at the supermarket, considering the quantity you get. This is sourced directly from Greece, the 900lb gorilla in the world of olive oil. You get many layers of inspection and certification that you’re getting EXACTLY what you’ve paid for, something that can’t be said of American store brands, most of which are multiple-sourced and adulterated (look it up if you don’t believe me), because there’s no regulatory body for quality control or any kind of certification.

The oil I received was fresh, perhaps just a bit milder in terms of the peppery quality than, say Iliada. Quite wonderful, fresh and fruity. Well worth the effort of ordering it from Amazon.
